Clairvoyancy is literally the art of 'clear seeing.' It also associated with the idea of the 'third eye'. Clairvoyants may see images, colours, pictures or symbols that helps them connect to their client. These images may come like a flash or may grow in the clairvoyants mind during the reading. They may be literal or metaphorical, but either way, they shed a powerful light on the real issues and challenges a client may face.

Often there are terms you may come across when it comes to psychic and clairvoyant readers. If you want to know the difference between a psychic and a clairvoyant, you need to be aware first of all the meaning of each word.
The meaning of Psychic & Clairvoyant:
The word psychic comes from the Greek word ‘psych’ which means to see. The word Clairvoyant also means to see. So in essence, to be a psychic or clairvoyant reader is pretty much the same thing. Often psychics and clairvoyants can work with or without tarot cards. The clairvoyant and psychic powers come straight from their own intuitive ability to see.

Some people believe that clairvoyance or psychic ability is something that you are born with. Some of us have it some of us don’t. However research shows that most people can actually be trained to develop clairvoyant abilities to a strong degree. As a clairvoyant working professionally for Gaye Wright over the past 8 years I can certainly vouch for the fact that there is no replacement for training and experience. I have taught Gaye’s Intuitive Development Courses in both Australia and UK and had the pleasure of seeing people who previously felt that they had no psychic ability learn to ‘tune in’ and really begin to listen to the voice of their intuition. On the other hand I have seen people who seem to have all the bells and whistles of a good psychic, picking out names and seeing places, yet not having a clue about what it all means!
